But maybe the reality of our situation is that we've been so conditioned to be afraid of each other that we no longer know how to bear the emotions of real, deep connection.

(All that said, keep yourselves safe, too. Everyone has the right to kick people out of their life for any reason. By practicing agency, more people will hopefully begin to understand the difference between danger and discomfort.)

Men need to feel ok living outside of the social constructs, but they need invitations, warmth, and encouragement from those already there; not the “tough love” they so often receive.

Furthermore, there are some communities where bigotry has become more accepted as long as the target is men. This isn’t most people, but these people tend to be very bitter and loud.
