beastieball!!! vouch!! for it!! it has a lot of strategic complexity from what i know, and its got a lot of charming Creature-Centric Stuff
though, ill say, cassette beasts does a lot more fun stuff with the types/elements... stuff like melting ice types into water types for a few turns

let me take an animal crossing character and put them in gm_construct. thats what SV / ZA look like. and probably what gen 10 will look like..

-for letting me try new creatures out by having most of the leveling tied to just. Me(TM) instead of my creature

and as always ill praise cassette beasts most for its unique take on the elemental type chart. i love how instead of just more damage, theres just. so many different effects/reactions

-when i can just Find a Better Version of a Pokemon i Already Have, and On Top Of That, Theres Not Much Making The One I Have Feel Unique. other than my time spent with it. i again like that beastieball has like. personalities and friendships with your other beasties.

i think stuff like being able to have them help people out in more ways is cool, i liked how in pokemon legends arceus i could give a pokemon with a water move to the farmers, and take it back any time. its like. thats lovely actually.

one thing im not a fan of in pokemon though is-

thriving. in my lane. moisturized

i love the writeups on the philosophy behind adding stuff like this. really shows the thought that goes into what can seem to some like just a simple little idea
