Disregarding all the Pokemon I played as a kid, I guess my first "proper" RPG was Dragon Quest IX. Even with the debuff of the Jedward ad campaign, I still think the class system looked insteresting enough to give it a go. Although, like a lot of game when I was younger, I don't think I finished it.
What was the first RPG you can remember playing, peeps? And what was the one that's hooked you hardest into the genre?
I'm curious as to what the spread of games might turn out like.

For some reason Bluesky's algorithm or whatever has branded me a furry? Every few posts on my discover feed is furry art. Not to come off as a hater, but it's just not my scene. The "show less of this" option doesn't seem to have had an effect either.
