I didn’t have something in mind for an author photo that I’d always dreamed of. I’ve been so focused on editing, querying, editing some more, submission, editing AGAIN…that I kind of overlooked the other parts of the process that happen after you become a debut author.

I left my job as a children’s book editor at LBYR just about three years ago and have missed working with authors. That was the best part of being an editor and was the hardest part to give up, so I’m excited to be able to work with a writer over the next few months to further develop their story.
