Ann Arbor is changing traffic signals so Flashing Yellow Arrows (FYA) don't direct left-turning drivers through crosswalks that peds are using. Huron/Division, where a man was hit on 4/30, hasn't been changed because it doesn't have beg buttons. Turn off FYA until it can be done safely! #a2council

At the site of the fatal pedestrian crash of 3/11/25, Plymouth is 73' wide. Picture shows how far a vehicle driving at the speed limits can go in the time it takes a person to walk 73'. Plymouth is too wide and too fast to be safe for pedestrians. Demand Action: Narrower, Slower, Xwalk. #a2council

Ann Arbor's stated goal is zero deaths and serious injuries from traffic crashes by 2025. We're not going to achieve that goal on time. But we can achieve it soon, if we start looking at the causes of the crashes and implementing real fixes. Demand action. #a2council
