End of an era. A lot of folks talk up Yuzo Koshiro, Takenobu Mitsuyoshi, and Hideki Naganuma as the big Sega game music composers, but Hiro has a long tail legacy that should be more recognized in the grand Sega music hierarchy.
Composer Hiroshi Kawaguchi (here with the letter of appreciation given to him by Sega) retires today.
I wonder who will be the longest-serving Sega employee from now on (Taku Makino was born in 1960 but didn't join Sega until 1988, around the same time as Toru Yoshida).

Playing Sonic Unleashed on a Xbox Series console plus the recent recompile is such a blessing given what you had to deal with if you had a PS3 and were crazy enough to get the Platinum on it.
