Howdy doodily doo.

I'm Talkie, Talkie Toaster, your chirpy breakfast companion.

Would you like some toast? 🍞

Condescending pricks get blocked.
That's in reference to his popularity not mandelson btw

I would say that the media response is definitely a big big factor. Not the only one, but deffo a big one.
February 10, 2026 at 11:34 AM
People have been blaming the media for Mandelaon getting the ambassador role?
February 10, 2026 at 11:32 AM
Senior policy advisor to Michael Gove whilst he was at the department for education.
February 10, 2026 at 11:24 AM
He is a member of the media class, that's where he gets his wages. So he has to defend it.
February 10, 2026 at 11:23 AM
Wow, talk about flogging a dead horse.
February 10, 2026 at 11:18 AM
Right hand man of Gove?

Good, fuck him. He's a hack.
February 10, 2026 at 11:17 AM
I will say one thing - this entire thing has blatantly exposed a lot of opportunists, both left and right.
February 10, 2026 at 11:13 AM
Doesn't seem that way, he's moving to where the wind blows him.

Not surprising as he does work for LBC. Not exactly a bastion of objectivity.
February 10, 2026 at 11:03 AM
It's cultish if you think that a leader of a political party can do no wrong i.e Farage, Polanski, Corbs, Johnson...

If you are ready and able to be critical of Starmer, you're not in a cult. I am critical of Starmer in many ways.

Ask a Green supporter to criticise Polanski. They can't.
February 10, 2026 at 10:52 AM
Didn't he say something about people being cultish?

When it comes to the media it's just an observable reality.
February 10, 2026 at 10:05 AM
It's a highly coordinated effort.

Also, coincidentally, the investigation into Russian influence on our politics is happening which will include how the media has been influenced.

What a coincidence.
February 10, 2026 at 9:29 AM
Starmer - Not names in the Epstein files.

Farage - Named multiple times

Nick Candy - Named multiple times

Why are the media in this country so quiet about this I wonder?

Almost as if this is coordinated huh.
February 9, 2026 at 5:40 PM
It is so incredibly blatant how the mainly right wing rags are coordinating to push Starmer out.

Reports from RW talking heads saying he will be out in a few days.

Bearing in mind that when Johnson was forced to jump, MPs resigned.

This is TWO AIDES TO THE PM.

This is so tiresome.
February 9, 2026 at 3:08 PM
ITS A COBWEB.
February 9, 2026 at 2:15 PM
I would never consider myself in a cult for a political leader.

I look at the good and the bad, and I wouldn't follow a party or leader blindly, without looking at their flaws.

I'm seeing that with Farage and Polanski. People who follow the leader, not their policies. Populism is bullshit.
