This has gotten very little coverage in the US, but on Monday US military contractors or troops or some other paramilitary group placed signs on a beach in Mexico, claiming it as US territory. (The contested location is close to the SpaceX base outside Brownsville)

I visited Galerie Templon in NYC yesterday and spent a moment immersed in Chiharu "Connected to the Universe." I took pictures of my favorite pieces. The single needle-like figure and the threads shooting out of it into intricate swirls and messy loss threads spoke volumes to me.

Thank you @jamesgunn.bsky.social for the more realistic portrayal of Krypto. Superman was a lot of fun but it was Krypto that made the movie for me. I honestly teared up a bit as it made me think of my own dog that passed earlier this year.

Her mother Elizabeth believes Alex is “floundering” and given up her passions for a “cozy job.” Something happened that hurt Alex so deeply that she quit the life she imagined and now works as an account executive at her mother’s cosmetic company.

THERE ARE SPOILERS IN THIS POST. DON'T READ FURTHER IF IT MATTERS TO YOU. I finally binged Grotesquerie on Hulu. I had no idea of what the show was about before starting it. I was drawn in by the "gothy" color scheme and religious imaginary, deep reds and purple hues over Christian crosses hung over a nun in a white habit, running into frame.
