We must abolish timezones and all live in the golden light of Universal Time
Yeah, it's a really high quality source of information, which is why I'm willing to put up with Fandom's nonsense.

Don't announce that you're doing it. Pretend you aren't. Open Avengers Doomsday on a white void and then show Doom as the god of Battleworld with zero explanation. Lie in all the marketing.

Nobody needs to talk like this. Nothing is improved by this.

The only good TV is a dumb TV. Real big stupid asshole of a TV. No grams of protein.

Most of Guts' party feels totally out of place, but Schierke is good.
There's no way in hell I would have stuck with this if I was reading it as it was being published. 21 years between the end of Golden Age and the Casca dream world stuff? Go to fucking hell with that.

But that circles back to how confusing looking the action scenes tend to be.
I don't want to just criticize it, there was a lot I liked. I wouldn't have read 40 volumes of it otherwise.
Griffith/Femto is fucking great, even if the rest of the Godhand sucks.
The Berserker armor is sick looking.

but this goes from something interesting to something... kind of boring. There's way too much people talking about attacks and describing fights, which I understand is a genre staple, but come on, it's a visual medium. Just show the fight and you don't need to narrate it.

character and he's barely in the story. The Falconia stuff is cool and I wish there was more. Things go to a point where I stopped caring about Guts' storyline entirely. It's too goofy and padded. The tone of the earlier arcs is replaced by stupid silly stuff. I'm not saying a story should be static

The big monster designs suffer from just being giant blobs that are supposed to be gross and horrifying but are really just too big and nonsensical. Like yeah, ok, it's a huge, writing mass of eyes... so? The excess robs it of any punch. It's undisciplined.
Griffith is the only interesting
