Our dog does that to my wife if she gets up in the evening. My cat prefers to curl up by my side when I’m on the computer.

I went digging in some old photos tonight. Found a photo from my NATO cruise in 2006. It was from a day trip we took to Beaumont Hammel. Got to see Vimy Ridge as well but it was getting restored so the monument was under wraps. Hope to get back in a couple of years.

This is one of my places of joy, but it can also be one of my biggest stresses at the same time. Won’t see it again till April.

Well I already thought I couldn’t talk about my first job in the military. They’ve amended the rules and now either individuals or entire units can fall under this. Oh well there goes the book I was thinking of writing.

Hey CBC nice article on how hard it can be for Vets to adjust to civilian life after service. One issue with the article. The Taliban didn’t retake Afghanistan in 2010. Maybe proofread the article.

Today was Merrys turn for a sibling free day. Went to a different place for her to swim but the same place for a pup cup ice cream. She’s now sleeping waiting for her brother to come home.

Took my year old Lab to the beach today. First time for him seeing a large body of water. Had fun even though he wasn’t sure of the waves. Finished it off with a pip cup ice cream. Who cares I got wet when it rained. He had fun.

My cat has taken to watching my laptop with me. All sorts of screens open when she decides to walk away over the laptop.

This was when I was in Afghanistan. I honestly believe it was warmer then that, but that the thermometer just couldn't go any higher.

With my dogs off at the kennel for a couple of days, this girl is missing them. I guess my afternoon plans will have to wait.

For Trump. This is on our national war memorial. 158 heroes went and didn’t ask for thanks. Many more of us are dealing with lifelong issues from serving there.

Flag day is tomorrow in Canada. This is probably the biggest flag I’ve handled. It was either opening day for the Blue Jays in 2014 or 2015. The crowd was really loud.
