People are making it sound like the Jays are a joke for finishing second. I suspect that some of the reasons Sasaki took Toronto so seriously are the same as the ones Ohtani was considering last year. I think it is actually a good reflection on the team and the city.

I know this is all hypothetical but why would Greenland merit statehood with 56,000 people but Puerto Rico (3.2 million) and D.C. (680,000) would not? Also, Trump talks about Canada (40 million) being a single state. Would Greenland have the same number of senators as California or Canada?
