@wilnerness.bsky.social Hey Mike. It looks like Ryan Burr is ready. Bruihl down or do they need the second LHP? Definitely can't send Fisher down. He's been nails. Who comes off the 40-man? Doesn't look there is an obvious name to add to the 60-day IL or DFA. Jimenez? Schultz? Or maybe Burr?

Trump is a bully. If he gets what he wants by pushing around Canada and Mexico, who is to say he won’t be pushing around a new set of countries for other imagined reasons? The rest of the world should support Canada and Mexico at this time and make Trump feel some pain.

For the MAGA crowd that says: “America needs to produce its own products, and we won't have to worry about tariffs causing inflation. Self-sufficiency!” how long will take to get up and running on products not currently in production? How about raw materials not found or grown in the U.S.?

GOP party discipline will only continue to ebb away over the next two years and drop like a stone after the midterms. Trump is a lame duck.

Donald Trump appoints unethical people (especially who have horribly mistreated women) for the same reason he spends presidential pardons and commutations on criminals who were corrupt. It is about Trump. It is about Trump’s need to have men who are comparable to himself and thus it normalizes him.

Can’t wait to see what the Trump pardons and commutations list looks like. If Trump feels so empowered that he can nominate Matt Gaetz as AG, he’ll feel comfortable pardoning anyone, including P. Diddy.

I assume that Trump voters will be happy with today’s appointments (with the exception of the hawkish Rubio). People who have been paying attention shouldn’t be surprised. They voted for someone who is infinitely unqualified so why would they be unhappy with others of the same ilk?
