I sometimes feel a desire to go back to community college for the...well, community aspect. But for *some* reason degrees from community college hold near zero weight with employers. My dumb mistake for going the more *affordable* option first.

This made both classwork and homework difficult for me since switching gears doesn't come that easily to me. The cognitive load gets really heavy when the subjects are vastly different, and then throw exams every few weeks on top of that! Is it any wonder I got burned out?

For those who are neurospicy, another failing of the full-time student model is the fact that those classes will often times be radically different from one another. Sure, calculus is used in a lot of engineering classes but it ain't in English lit or history.

This is a somewhat crazy belief of mine, but I believe "home"work builds an expectation that your employer can send you home *with* *work* to do without having to pay you. Thankfully a lot of those in my generation are fed up with shitty managers and have learned to set boundaries.

For any student who already had a full or part-time job that means missing out on campus events, socializing with friends, all forms of solo entertainment, etc. Basically you work, go to class, do "home"work, and maybe sleep.

I find "socket head cap screw" to roll off my tongue rather nicely.

Of all the things that brushless DC motors have improved, lawn equipment is *not* one of them. Still noisy, but now high-pitch motor whine noisy! Gotta love me that extra high pitch tinnitus.
