A week ago it snowed over 10” which prompted me to test out using snow instead of ice for dyeing. The result? A beautifully unique finish that completely transformed the fabric! #Sewsky #TTCascadesTop #IceDyeing

Here’s my first Cascades Top I made as part of @twigandtale.bsky.social Sew + Show team. I used a mystery fabric from my stash and it turned out to be more sheer than I expected, so I decided to ice dye it using snow. Here’s “before” photos! #sewsky #newpattern

Late last year, I decided I must recreate this matching outfit my sister and I wore in 1997. I was a dance major in college and she was still in elementary school. They came to see one of my performances and, when we met up afterwards, discovered we were wearing matching outfits 😄
