I found the perfect corduroy at Blackbird Fabrics, but couldn’t decide on a pattern for overalls. I already had 2 patterns but didn’t think they were quite right for the project. Then I discovered Merchant & Mills Harlene pattern and knew it was the one!

Late last year, I decided I must recreate this matching outfit my sister and I wore in 1997. I was a dance major in college and she was still in elementary school. They came to see one of my performances and, when we met up afterwards, discovered we were wearing matching outfits 😄

My first Wildwood Jacket! This was my first time quilting and working with so much bias tape—let’s just say it was a learning experience. After countless hours (and some frustration), I’m really happy with how it turned out. Proud of this one! #sewsky #garmentsewing #sewn #memade
