It's a relative drop of ~9.1%, which is a plunge, especially for younger generations which have less and less of the pie at the same ages as their older generation counterparts.

China has been great on solar but they aren't even slowing their fossil fuel consumption. China emits about twice as much as the US, but half as much per capita since they are 4x our pop. Turns out China isn't magic after all, and it's not even fully industrialized yet. FF interests are huge there.

I don't know that #, and I won't dispute that. It's likely that a cadre those elite liberal types contributed to shifting views within Dems. My thesis here is that the majority of trans hate in the last decade is from rw sources, which is reflected in right/left disparities in trans acceptance.

The DNC bears responsibility. Voters also bear responsibility though. In the 1920s, German communists split the vote with liberals and the fascists got in power. I wish more leftists in America would learn this bit of history.
