The blood service did an extra blood test & have sent that off for analysis. I’ll see what that says (it could be a dodgy sample/reading/machine) & book to see GP if needed.
I’ve been a blood donor for over 20 years though & this is the first time I’ve been turned away, so something ain’t right!

Yep, a finger-prick test. They usually put a drop of blood in a liquid & check it sinks within a certain amount of time, but this time they used a clever machine that gave a number.

I suspect the pupils there may be from middle/upper class families and so have privileges that may support their attendance.
