I've noticed a lot of confusion and misinfo on this point, and having seen the actual cause of the bricking I kinda have to side with Nintendo here since a large majority of it boils down to 1.) using a MIG cartridge, and 2.) using ROMs that they didn't dump themselves.

It’s telling that their only counter to the Tau having greater potential for technological and societal progression is spamming “Suffer not the Xenos to live” and prattling on about how the only reason the Tau are alive is because the other factions don’t care enough to kill them, which is huge cope

Like, any sci-fi military with FTL travel would be a formidable opponent to most 40k factions. Even the droid army from the Star Wars prequels would be able to establish themselves as a major power in a couple of years.

I always hate 40k fans that act like the universe is the hardest and most apocalyptic setting in fiction when most of the major factions are fundamentally incapable of any meaningful forms of progress

Yeah, there’s a store near me that’s really good about managing their community, but that’s because it’s always had other women on staff and has refused to carry Yugioh or Weiss Schwartz, which means they’ve been able to keep a lot of the more unruly people away

Pretty much the only things I need to feel welcome at a game event is no naked anime girls on playmats/card sleeves, no obsessively creepy dudes trying to fuck me, and no chuds slowly explaining the rules like I’m a child.
