Nope, same old same old. $60 co-pays, annual deductible is quite a bit as well.

Not as horrible as losing SNAP benefits, granted, but still pretty damn annoying. As clear a case as it gets: elect Republicans, lose benefits, pay more for everything, and watch the rich get richer

It took a few more years to actually find a fellow bear (hey, Lewis!) to hang out with, but I'm glad I stuck to my guns and held out for the thing I really wanted! And I'm still kind of in awe that bears are a widely understood cultural thing - amazing to see that in a lifetime

Thankfully, I'm pretty sure no one is going to have a similar experience in 2025. It's shockingly easy to find any number of like-minded men - bears are a well-defined category, and it's hard to imagine a time when bearded, furry, solidly-built gay dudes were a thing that didn't seem to exist

Oh God, a coworker at QUALCOMM back in the day refused to take requests from me unless I used Gorean language with her - so awful. I quit as soon as I possibly could. HR was useless as that “could not possibly be a thing”
