Dad, IT Network Architect, amateur Astronomer, past serious but sub-master chess player, former Judoka, amateur rocketeer, tennis player (all things I have not had time or energy for lately, but would like to revisit). Too many dull things to put here. :)
Things I like to ask... myself.

From time to time, I like to look back at where I was, how things were, how I felt, and what I thought 5, 10, 15, maybe 20 years ago. Really for me even further back now, but 30 is about as far back as makes sense, at my age now.

Trump's in full retreat today as his poll numbers slip:

He convened the cabinet to limit Elon after voters pressured Congress.

He delayed the tariffs b/c the market dropped out & created fears of a recession.

He's losing in court b/c DOGE didn't follow the law.

Keep fighting.

God is an Iron

Chuck Schumer should immediately announce Democrats will accede to Trump's wishes here and do away with the Electoral College once and for all.

Here's that bipartisan push the pundits are looking for. Let's go!

I’m starting to think that the longer we shield Trump voters from the worst economic outcomes, the worse things actually will get.

Sometimes people just have to find out the hard way, sad as that is. Yes, we will suffer. But at least they will learn that elections do have consequences.

Enjoying Bluesky very much so far. It is the best of Twitter 10 years ago (as fondly remembered) with better and more useful features for curating content. Looking forward to seeing it grow in features and scale for a billion+ users. :)
