Apple mint still doing well. Spearmint died, so replaced it with green onions.

Next time the orange clown turd brags about his dementia screening test results, I’d like for at least one member of the press pool to ask, “Are you sure you passed that? I mean you confused a human with a pig. Clearly you aren’t good at animal identification.”

The air fryer is replacing the microwave as my favorite kitchen cooking convenience tool.

So my type 1 diabetes has existed longer than my new primary care doc. Thankfully he is deferring to me when it comes to that part of my health.

I had to change my pump site 3 times instead of once today. Dang thing kept getting ripped out!
November 16, 2025 at 1:36 AM
Nearly recovered from the cold/ sinus thing, but still have a nagging cough. Still using my rescue inhaler at night so I can sleep.

Ok, just placed an order for a snowsuit for Ghani that goes over her harness (her prior one had a leash hook/ ring but it ripped off as it was poorly made), and little rubber boots that provide protection while giving the feeling of the paw touching the ground. Hoping they protect from rock salt.

That feeling of relief when: your insulin pump starts to irritate you on day 2, and it’s finally day 3 and you just put a new one in.

Going to be getting a winter coat for Ghanima for Christmas. She doesn’t need more toys. I can just swap out her current batch with lesser used ones in the toy box.

Decided to bring in the apple mint (left) and spearmint for the winter. My other perennial herbs are in the ground in the herb bed of my garden.

Just used my coffee maker to brew a pot of herbal tea. The herbs (a mix of spearmint, apple mint, lemon balm, lavender, and chamomile) were from my garden and I dehydrated them throughout the summer and early part of autumn.

Cold is in sinuses. Have an antibiotic on hand that I can start if it doesn’t clear in the next 5 days (that will put me at 11 days). For now, just keeping an eye on my cough, which is becoming more productive.

My mom, who is 75, was recently speaking with someone she knows who has dementia. She informed me he can speak more coherently than the orange clown turd.

I have the dog’s dress laid out for her pic with Santa Paws tomorrow.
November 8, 2025 at 12:12 AM
I found out the couple my parents sold some furniture to before their move this past summer are the Santa and Mrs Paws my neighbor hired for Pictures with Santa Day for the neighborhood doggos.

Cold has settled into my sinuses and everything hurts and sucks.

I was quite pleased with many of the election results last night. We didn’t have an election in Indiana this year, but I was following some of the races.

Using sick day protocols for both asthma and diabetes today.

I’ve never had a cold f**k up my blood sugar as badly as this current one. I’m tired, I feel like crap, and my blood sugar refuses to stabilize.
November 4, 2025 at 5:02 PM
No sleep plus a cold means I may be snapping easily today.

If you are a child, you should know that when you are an adult, yes, you can stay up as late as you want, so 10pm is the latest you will be heading to bed. Probably more like 9.

I may start referring to my SodaStream as a medical necessity, because using it to create carbonated water has helped me on multiple occasions to get tablets and food unstuck from my throat.
