Much SoR legislation has been around for a while. Persistently balanced literacy won’t work as a reason for much longer.

The work was federally funded; CLAVES is not published by a for-profit curriculum company. It is free except for the cost of the books (which are awesome and worth buying anyway).

I hope folks will take a look and try it out!

My colleagues and I have documented evidence of CLAVES effectiveness among 4th and 5th grade bilingual students (DM for .pdf).
