I didn't realize the book was coming out this month and didn't see the tour dates. I could've gone to see Travis Baldree in Sacramento Thursday night and I totally missed out.

I’ve been reading the coziest little murder mystery series there is, The Witches Brew Mysteries by Gretchen Rue.

The stories follow recently divorced, newly discovered witch Phoebe as she moves to Raven’s Creek, starting over after her divorce & the passing of her Aunt.

I know that future me will be very happy to have my Master’s degree, and I'll be excited to graduate in August. BUT present me wants to go back in time and kick past me in the teeth for applying to grad school.

Everyone’s cuddling up to Claude on a rainy morning. Who doesn’t love the famous albino alligator from the California Academy of Sciences?

When my semester is over, perhaps it’s time for a visit. I love it when the Cal Academy is decorated for the holidays.

When I'm late getting the peanuts out and the scrub jays are forced to eat seeds like the regular birds.

Usually they just stare into my kitchen window until I come out and fill the peanut feeder.

I love receiving book mail from The Broken Binding. When I saw they were releasing a special edition of King Sorrow by Joe Hill, I threw my money at them, and they did not disappoint.

My copy of King Sorrow by Joe Hill has arrived, and it is a monster of a book. I can't decided if I want to read it next or wait until all my homework assignments for the semester are submitted.

This little chickadee couldn't find anything good to eat. The lesson here is that if you're patient and toss enough seeds on the ground, eventually a good seed will appear. 🪶
