agreeing to make a terrible deal while your main opponent is quite literally being boo'd on live tv by an entire stadium of people is the kind of political instinct you'd normally only find in a 3 week old dead goldfish

Anyone else live in a heli flight path?
I was never concerned about the sound of helicopters before ICE arrived in Chicagoland.

Now I hear them frequently. Much more frequently that the occasional Life Flight I used to hear, here in the 'burbs.

And I wonder which one of my neighbors they're after.
Every damn time.

Threadbanger is one of the first youtube channels I subscribed to. Their video all that time ago taught me about what has become yarn bombing. I sat watching in my kitchen with my kids busy in the background as I planned to learn crochet.

Check your Savior Complex before you spout solutions about citizens to other nations.
This one agrued on with solutions yelling their "knowledge" above someone's Lived experience. It isn't a status quotient you track and tick the box off on your way to some imagined glory.

Archaeologists invented the Indigenous past
In the Americas, sites older than 12-14 K years are denied as legitimate and have been aggressively denied for over a century, erasing Indigenous history and links to the land.

Am I the only one who wants to inject this video of Nepal into my veins?

Look at how scared the police in riot gear are! They're running away like it's a zombie attack.

I've never related to a video on the other side of the world more than this video, here in 2025.

Putting it on my vision board.
