Someone just tried to do this to me on Instagram. They’d stolen the account of someone who’d messaged me before, pretended to be Meta, and popped into my DMs like, “You violated our TOS, uh please visit this linktree and fill out your personal information” lmao
Just a reminder and warning if some of you never got DMs like this:
It's a famous scam tactic to gather infos from you. Saddly those DMs comes from people you follow that got hacked.
Best is to report those.
I checked my Twitter fast and got like 20+ of those, they really want to hack me too.
