Better safe than sorry. There was that year I missed out on a panettone.

I don’t know much about Fredericton but I know it floods. Walking beside the Saint John River I appreciated seeing “Watermark“ by Gerald Beaulieu, showing the levels of significant floods. When the lowest post is submerged it’s officially a flood. Yikes!

It’s a long drive across New Brunswick. Paused to admire some bridges.

Noticed: a well painted radiator, and a chalkboard staff liner.

New staircases noticed in Quebec City: sublime looking but hard to walk at the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec, and at Bibliothèque Gabrielle-Roy there were leaping cats for Halloween.

Noticed in Quebec City: a Wallace Fountain from Paris, and an exhibit about crowd density at the Musée de la civilisation

Went to the Museum of Natural History. Saw a beautiful stone axe made a few thousand years ago by the Not So Recent People, and Gus who is old but not that old.

Took a short stroll in Bridgetown. Noticed: the Credit Union scamps reminds folks the big banks left; and a bus shelter on the site of the Strand cinema (where I saw Gone with Wind and Village of the Damned).

Beside the busy on ramp to the BiHi is a delightful little path. This afternoon I picked up garbage, because it deserves to look the best.
