I just want to add here that we still have this linkage from dicks to magic - the wand, the rod and the stave are all euphemisms for the phallus and substitutions for whipping your dick out during an incantation.

Sex is a powerful natural force and magic likes that like-affecting-like logic.

Since you have reposted this to your main profile, I am now forced to ask one of your followers instead to explain what you misread in the post you are replying to. I am too exhausted.

Ah, okay, that's a fair misunderstanding. No, I was pointing out the government still has access to the same technology used to arrest the J6's. I am not pointing out a moral equivalency.

With all due respect, you just misunderstood and misrepresented me, then argued my own point against me. Now this is about someone I haven't seen, who wasn't me. Please just use a faraday pouch and try not to get recorded.

You are still exhausting.

So, don't IRL fedpost and don't listen to IRL fedposters. Which is the point of what I was saying, that you said was telling people not to use their first amendment rights.

You are exhausting.

What the other poster said - March, but FFS take some basic protections to not incriminate yourself and the people around you.

You can't have it both ways. Either you're taking an action that's meant to threaten the state, or the state shouldn't feel threatened by you. Act as if the former.

You're reminding me of those people who effort post about living off paper plates because doing the dishes is too hard for them.

I'm sorry it's too much effort to take appropriate precautions to living in a definitionally fascist police state.
October 21, 2025 at 1:51 AM
Definitionally privilege. I'm sorry that word is beaten to death, but unlike the January 6's, protestors will not be receiving a presidential pardon after their every move was tracked by their cell phone.

The thing that gets me the most here is how bored the ICE guys look. They're firing shots for the same reason you pull out your phone if you're stuck waiting for a bus.

I was an underemployed economics-historian in 2019 - The burden of knowledge got so bad I quit to become a hospital janitor during the COVID surge.

I probably shouldn't tell you how great that was for me, I like your writing way too much. I can't imagine what *this* year would have done.

This is going to be way too deep and way too late to be seen, but: I think you frontloaded the first twenty minutes too hard, so people crashed out at that point. You knew the context of the whole argument you were making, but twenty minutes is a *long* time without it.

They've been doing it since at least the Floyd protests, and TIME says; “CBP has a pretty expansive opportunity to be able to deploy drone technology and other technologies that are able to surveil and track anyone [within] a border zone that almost two-thirds of the U.S. population lives within."

The use of the drone drew criticism from the American Civil Liberties Union.

If you do the math, they turned 13 when Trump first got into office. Their entire conscious life has been the internet poison era.

We are specifically talking about use of generative AI in art.

My ADHD doesn't justify uncompensated and uncredited use of other people's work, which is what these tools facilitate at an industrial scale. Beyond being legally dubious, productivity is a four letter word around discussions of art.
