My headcanon is that Alastor killed people for revenge at first but got a taste for it and got a bit looser with it.. and then during the depression Alastor looked at a fresh corpse, shrugged, said “waste not, want not!” and started thinking up recipes. Fresh meat was expensive, dammit!

This is adorable - but I have to confess, I always imagined it the other way around. Lucifer was never “born” - he was created. So, no belly button because no umbilical cord. Alastor WAS born, so he would have a belly button & I imagine Lucifer absolutely adores Alastor’s belly button. it’s cute 🥰

Honestly I definitely see the possessiveness - that shines through loud and clear. But something about his eyes to me is just like “I seen some shit but this (Lucifer) is mine so fuck off” or something?? I dunno, whatever it is, it’s amazing!! Really emotive and beautifully drawn ❤️

That’s exactly what I thought as well!! It’s like Alastor’s been haunted by some horrific shit and he’s holding onto Lucifer for protection (though whether his own or Lucifer’s I’m not sure)
