There was a Thai place in Alturas CA. Also an amazing Basque place (but that was more expected).

From a fed- I am so sorry. NELA dot org lists lawyers that deal with federal employment.

Having watched with great attention a few renamings in the last eight years the pattern was pretty consistent. But I haven’t seen all the latest maps. Too busy reading.

lol- every time GNIS is updated Esri is the last one to roll forward.

As the BGN is administered through DOI there can be secretarial direction just like there are paths for Congress to name things.

Oh yeah- just honestly want to do some spatial analysis and tune up software skills

To be fair… at that point many agencies are told to not surmise what may happen and there are strict guidelines on transition communication.

Is it really? Done this way too often.

Ordered a couple. Awesome. When I’m back online with the office I’ll share with the team. Gotta share the good moments where they are!

I am not online for work (on leave for a couple of weeks) but I’ll try and think of the terms we were using. Here’s a starting point https://pubs.usgs.gov/publication/ofr20241038/full

Look- it’s decent advice given the whiplash of the week. Not saying it’s right but the grading matrix is being rewritten. Keep saying you are being a mentor, keep saying different backgrounds. Do the things and submit the proposal.

I need to prioritize this for my one. It’s been on the to do list for a long time but now seems imperative.
