Really curious about how new instructors who haven’t even graduated are supposed to navigate the onslaught of fascism/naziism in the classroom this fall. Things have escalated so quickly. This will also be my first time teaching first semester students, not just first year.

Thinking about this girl from my hometown who grew up wealthy & moved off to NYC. Did a lot of stuff that would make any sane person more progressive but instead she’s now 30, going through religious psychosis in real time after recently converting to Catholicism, & is a raging Zionist lol

Finished up my tech writing pedagogy class last night it’s the first time in my graduate career that I’ve been this sad to see a class end. It was so engaging and so much fun.

Another favorite topic in my current pedagogy class has been visual data and the way that it has very especially been manipulated in recent years to skew Covid data and grossly misrepresent the severity of those infected and lasting affects.
