And that's all! Little Tama's an Angel was sadly cut short, and ended right as our lil buddy was about to start on a new adventure.

Thanks for humoring me while I (slowly) shared this fun, forgotten slice of manga history!
Boy with gun: "golly, my bad, pal!" Tama: "you sure surprised me!" boy: "th' name's kinta!" Tama: "where are you going with that gun? kinta: "I'm huntin' a bear that done attacked my poor village." kinta: "sniff sniff...and this place stinks o' bear" behind kinta and tama, a giant bear stared angrily down at them

final Interloper ep dropped...I've shilled the series before but man what a ride, the ideas it has and the swings it takes are so wild and mind expanding...kinda just some of the peak of speculative fiction about games, can't recommend it enough

Tama, riding on the back of an octopus: "Back to Japan huh..." To the octopus once on land, handing them their halo: "Thank you so much for saving me! Here, take this as thanks. Octopus: "Wow are you sure?!" They put the halo around their head. Another octo sees and starts laughing: "Ahaha! You look ink-credible! What, gonna start aerobics? The octopus gets mad and stuffs the halo around the other's tentacles and storms off in a huff

okay so the actual joke here is Tama and the octopus both shout "tako!" which can mean both kite and octopus, but I'm not smart enough to fix a gag like that into english, this is the best I got forgive me
Tama, falling in a giant kite: "Ack a whirlwind!" They crash into water: "Not again!" They sink into the ocean: "Blub brlgl brblrlglr" Tama sees an octopus and the both of them shout: "A monster!"

Tama, way up high: "Well this is a mess!" A horse: "NEIGH!!!" Tons of kids and a horse and the wagon he's pulling and a telephone pull are all pulled up into the sky along with the kite Tama is on

boy: "my dad died in the war. if you see him up there in heaven, tell him I miss him." waving bye to tama who is sitting on a giant kite: "goodbye! come back someday! see you!" all the kids pulling the kite up by rope: "heave ho!" boy to another boy: "hurry up! we ain't got enough rope! give me taht!" what he grabs is the reigns of a horse, which starts getting pulled along by the kite

man: "you can't go around telling silly stories like that just to laugh at people! go outside and cool your heads! thought I'd have a heart attack!" brother: "but it's true... man jumps at the sound of splashing water, runs outside and yells at tama and boy, who have their heads in a puddle: "It was just an expression!" the two get up but because it's so cool out, the water has frozen on top of both of their heads

Rewrite!! Big recommend from me -- a 2025 time loop movie with a script by the time loop king River/Beyond Infinite Two Minutes writer...that's also an overt Obayashi homage!

Super reflective and thoughtful and generous, totally love it
