it's. so. good.

Dunno! I hit on those two thoughts while writing a steam review, brought it up with my partner last night, and I'm thinking about it again now. If nothing else, it's just always cool seeing artists make interesting stuff. Keen to keep poking around the game.

Both of those are cool thematically. And both, I think, only really emerge in something with a real authorial POV. Balancing the tension between those is hard as hell (e.g. too much Americana freedom undermines the horror) and I thiiiiiiink the game leans towards freedom so far?

But it's cool af.

i'm so jazzed to play it (and have been so for years), mostly because it seems so entirely it's own thing and i'm excited to see what that is.

more than anything, i'm justkeen to see the artwork – and all the craft that went into it – unfurl. 🙂
