Using misinformation to explain misinformation being prevalent is for sure a choice. Not one I would make though.

This has been corrected multiple times on the other site. Reagan did not repeal it. It was still on the books until Obama. It didn't affect misinformation. It had nothing to do with honesty or truth telling. It would not have affected anything that the FCC did not regulate and they have -never-
