magic: the gathering, (TT)RPGs, food, questionable literature, aggressively niche fanfiction, and shitposting. queer, they/them, 🇵🇸
the only thing i like more than our flag is our motto, which is conveniently also on the flag. "sic semper tyrannis", or, in leyman's terms, "pipe down or you're next"

i'm still but a neophyte in the grand scheme of magic: the gathering, but neon dynasty was the set that converted me from a commander player to a limited player

not in media res, i sadly can't lucid dream. i do keep a dream journal now for editing purposes because i once had an absolute ripper of a nightmare that would've made for a killer horror short story, only it fucked up the ending so badly, i woke up pissed off

i didn't pull that percentage out of my ass, either. 187m registered voters in the US, CBS polls average a 2k sample pool. when it comes to american media in this era of blatant fascism, it's important to remember:

no, they're not. CBS's parent company's purse strings are tied to trump's approval of their content. consider how this affects what they choose to report: polls of 0.0015% of registered voters that indicate approval for trump, or the ongoing, continuous local protests against the current regime

me, it's me, i do. once upon a time i considered myself a commander player, then my partner built a pauper cube on a whim; we haven't looked back. instead we built three more cubes

for short fiction, i'd recommend Evenson's 'Song for the Unraveling of the World'. it's an anthology, a lot of different horror styles, but i don't rememver any being HP flavored

unfortunately, with a player base that continously engages with the broken system, WotC has no incentive to revert to the print-to-demand model for Secret Lairs. equally unfortunate, the scalper market also isn't incentivised to stop feeding the secret lair machine. the only winner here is WotC
