Of course you’re right but just the fact that partisanship isn’t in complete control of the outcome … phew.

This is literally the only encouraging thing I have read in weeks. Could it ultimately play out that this last line of defense can save us? Can the rule of law actually prevail? Hoping against hope.

Safe to say we are never going to run out of reasons to love Vince Gilligan. He knows the bad guy is always easier to write for but we need to do harder things, especially right now.

Today is the first day I read the word “Broligarchy” and my life is now complete.

So what you’re telling us is that this poor poor man will never see his kids again. Our hearts are breaking.

Olivia, your courage is undimmed and exactly what we have come to expect.

Wait—it’s almost like you’re saying Trump went back on his word. No wonder the steelworkers are shocked. He NEVER does that.

George Bush did not pardon Neil Bush.

Jimmy Carter did not pardon Billy Carter.

The reason "nobody thinks these pardons defined either presidency" is because neither pardon happened. The author of the tweet below made them up.
Jimmy Carter pardoned his brother Billy Carter who took over $200,000 from Libya as its foreign agent.

George H.W. Bush pardoned his son Neil Bush for his role in the S&L scandals of the 1980s.

Nobody thinks those pardons defined either presidency.

Joe Biden's pardon of Hunter Biden won't either.

Louise Lexington is still waiting for her big break. But at least she’s got alliteration going for her.

Would love to hear your take on Michelle Goldberg’s interview of Marie Gluesenkamp Perez in today’s NYT. Perez had some novel ideas on how Democrats can win in traditionally red districts.

Apparently our expectations can’t get any lower this time
