Also as I'm writing this my mind is trying to down play my own struggles by saying "well you don't have it as bad as other people"&"at least you can pass for cis and hetero" I know that there are other people that do have it way worse than me but that doesn't mean I should dismiss my own feelings.

And again, to keep myself safe I have to keep quiet and try to not let them see that it gets to me. It's all mentally and emotionally exhausting.

It's hard having to put on the mask and try to "fit in" but it feels like it's the only way to stay safe. It's also really hard because an overwhelming majority of my coworkers are MAGA right wing trump supporters and they are constantly talking about current events and politics.
