Something that I don't really hear people talk about much is being a part of the LGBTQIA+ community and working in a blue collar job. Even living in California I'm still surrounded by coworkers that speak very negatively about anyone that isn't cis and hetero.

I love all the amazing things I'm already seeing during this pride month but I wanted to share one of my journal entries with the hope that someone that might be struggling with something similar, sees this and knows that they aren't alone. Yesterday was the happiest day of my life. @cadencethecat.bsky.social and I had a beautiful wedding and I'm beyond excited to now call her my wife. I also want to thank @ezrianaanmut.woof.lgbt for officiating our wedding and thank you to everyone that attended.

I know I'm not the only one that feels like this but it doesn't feel like Christmas time. Truthfully the holidays haven't felt the same in years. It's not even about giving or receiving gifts, it's the overall feeling. If I didn't know the date I would just think its another day...
