Reminder that the Now You See Me movies making absolutely no sense is the entire point of that franchise, so you could either break your back trying to nitpick around it or just sit back enjoying magicians stealing a microchip card with card tricks then disappearing in fog clouds changing clothes.

I cannot stress enough how much we DON'T need more musical biopics about people. I listening to their songs but please don't steal our finest actors away for years doing these shits (this goes for Michael to but mostly the FOUR Beatles movies, like what are we even doing.

The original Fraser film is my favorite adventure movie ever made - yes, better than all Indy Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean movies, don't even care about resonings, if this is a quarter of that good, I'm in heaven
Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz will reportedly return for a new 'The Mummy' movie

Also if you're looking for a good time during spooky season, definitely pick this up. My friend shoved it to me from his cracked console library, amazing to see they finally gave it a proper Western release a short while ago.

Good to see GOG is still the best (only?) platform to help you discover not just certified (Tom Raider, Hitman), but overlooked classics too, I will sure to pick up some of these.

Absolutely disappointing. Seeing the old guard fail to recognize the threat was already a sad thought, but it becomes clear that they actually understand quite well how this "new tool" will steal jobs from other future artist. They know and they don't give a shit because it's not happening to them.
Oscar-winning VFX legend Phil Tippett ('Star Wars,' 'Jurassic Park') mastered the blending of practical and digital effects when the latter technology was still new. At View Conference this week, he shared how his studio is now bringing AI into the mix.

One of the lesser-shared work of Drew Struzan to a movie that is regarded as not a great adaptation, but personally, I liked it very much. If I saw this poster in any cinema hall, I would have run to get that ticket.

Try to think of any movies that was essential in your childhood, chances are it was his art that made them imprint on you before you could see a single picture of them. He was one of the last of his kind. Farewell legend, and thank you for all the memories.

Never seek out reviews that give scores! Art is not something you could assign an actual worth to, it is the most intimate conversation between the creators and you. Experimenting and experiencing on your own is VITAL to build a healthy relationship to art, and quite frankly the best part of it.

Weapons was my favorite horror this year, so I'm glad to see Zach Cregger getting his deserved recognition. I watched Barbarian on streaming before and can't wait for this phisical release, hopefully we will get an audio commentary and some bts extras too.

Happy Birthday to the King of horror, one of my most influential writers in my life, pictured here in one of my favorite cameos of his from the adaptation of one of my favorite books of his. Long live the great @stephenking.bsky.social 🥳🥳

Probably the best time to mention how Scooby Doo was and still is probably the most important media for kids and young adults trying to get into horror, and since I was one of them during the 2000's, I can say how much this movie is the perfect adaptation of everything those shows stood for.
Perfect casting, visually faithful to the spirit of the show, top-notch comedy (for the most part), and the biggest 2000s vibe this side of the universe. I love this movie.

Another writing form last year, this one I did during a very dark time as a freeflow of thoughts about our world and what we did with it. I suggest reading it with care, and if you deal with dark thoughts and depression, maybe skip this one.

Talking of King, I stall haven't seen The Life of Chuck from @mikeflanaganfilm.com
Was hoping my country would show it in the cinemas, and holding back because I know that's the place to experience it. I passionately love everything he makes, so I know it will be worth the wait.

Managed to get two Stephen King books from my local library. These ones are out of print here, and older editions are sold by scalpers for preposterous prices, so this is a huge miracle for me. (These are 'Cell' and 'Everything's Eventual' by the way)

This I had in mind after a memory of my parents driving me around the city. I saw a tower in the distance that seemed to follow us, so I pictured a building that has a really evil aura. I scraped the idea during writing and turned it into a weird horror love story.

Sharing some of my writings from last year, this was a bet with my friend that we write a five-page story, turned out longer. I promise not all things I write are this vague and disturbing. Nonetheless, I quite like this one.
