Read your story, and it made me wonder, “who is Peter Sagal married to?” And google led me quickly to this AI generated bit of information, which seems to indicate, with a little back of the envelope math, that you are at minimum in your mid-eighties.

And meanwhile, all of this. I have been saying on my Jewish side, come on, do you really think these people are going to actually be on the side of the Jews this time? Time for the same message on the Catholic side, perhaps.

The thing is, this kind of makes me think you actually are a fascist? Because otherwise you could just go on a date and not be a fascist, which would solve the problem that, to be clear, does not seem to be based on any actual experience and is just in this person’s head.

Meanwhile, on the liberal side, we get one dude who didn’t want to be set up with women who drive Teslas and some unknown number of women who draw the line at engaging in a violent uprising against the government.

This dude claims to be more open, but if she isn’t enough of a bigot or doesn’t go to church enough, he cuts it off. Notably these ladies were willing to date this man, who seems to just want humility and aryan pulchritude, along with homophobia.

This lady, for instance, specifically says she only wants good conservative Christian guys. But, surprise of surprises, those don’t appear to be available.

What would have made you think that? Did you get into this movement somehow hearing about what right wing men think they are but without ever meeting any?

Saw this in Hawaii, where there is significantly more positive feeling for the former monarchy than in the parts of the US that were subject to European monarchs.

But did she though? Because I keep seeing this language that indicates she maybe didn't actually say it, but instead perhaps just implied it or that whatever she said "could be understood" to mean that. Seems like it could be understood much better if they would say what it was.

Could the reporter have learned much of that from the court documents referenced here? Sure could! Did he pass it on to the reader? Nope! Did he link the actual documents, so people could go find it themselves? Also nope!

But for some reason, headline writers keep treating the lie as if it is a good faith, if misguided, belief. It isn't. Nobody thinks it is. The guy who wrote the actual article you are producing the hed for doesn't: this is how he ends his essay.

Headline writers: please stop granting the Trump administration's bullshit premises. They are not doing this for a rounding error's worth of savings. The way they have gone about it makes it very clear that they don't care at all about savings.

Almost a third of the British Navy - by number of hulls, not tonnage - was battleships? Was that normal for the 18th century? Seems like a crazy high number of big ships.

Speaking as a lawyer, you don't need a lawyer for every goddamned thing. Could you get in legal trouble if someone tells you to go do a murder, and then you do the murder?
Yes. Of course you can. You can and should go to prison. But you didn't need me to tell you that. You know murder is illegal.

And Kenya. The US is really pretty boring by the standards of common law countries' high judicial outfits. Except that one Rehnquist's wife made for impeaching Clinton, and really even that was comparatively restrained.

There is just no amount of meeting in the middle, the right running off further, then meeting in the new middle that will be enough for ideological centrists. It doesn't even matter what we are meeting in the middle of. It will always be virtuous to be exactly halfway between R and D.
