we are lucky to have them - in WW2 lots of direction markers in the UK were destroyed in case of invasion. Fife Council removed these 18th and 19th century milestones and restored them after hostilities ended. There are nearly 150 I believe - so lots of pedalling required ¬

Remember walking up there years ago with family, nieces and nephews - my brother had to carry my Mum the last bit - its a beautiful part of Fife
