even the idea of clean energy/electric cars etc to suddenly be very pro clean energy.

One of the most outrageous parts of this is the way the question is phrased, if you answer it at all, would mean I would be agreeing that he is in fact an alien.

The only way to bypass this was to back up, go to his profile to confirm him first, and then return to mine. This has never happened before.
Call me paranoid but seems to me that immigration is basically asking white sounding spouses to tell on their brown sounding spouses. Lot of WTF. Just me?

We've obviously filed our taxes all our lives and we've used this software before so clearly his social is there. Although I have a foreign sounding name, it doesn't 'sound like I could be Mexican' but yet...somehow we get this pop up about Ruben who has a Mexican sounding name...

This window pops up asking me about my spouse- who is Filipino and therefore whose name is Spanish in origin/spelling. It looks like they've decided he is a 'non-resident alien or dual-status alien' and ask if I want to treat him as a US Resident....
He is a US citizen, born in the US...
