Was born in August 1956, and my mother, at age 39, reportedly was advised to relax in order to aid her strong desire to give birth. Her older sister died of polio at age two. Little Lillian. I believe news of the Salk polio vaccine may have helped my mom relax. And here I am today!

So many of the lighthouses I’ve encountered have been cloaked in fog when I arrived; most memorable was the Pigeon Point Lighthouse near Pescadero, California. A beauty, even with a thick-fog wrap!
