When our kids were small, we did a science project, rooting the top of a grocery pineapple in water, then planting it in dirt. We got years of thriving greens, and then a baby pineapple! My husband and I have a longstanding tradition of writing mushy notes to each other for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, etc. This is mine to him for this past Valentines Day.
