Regarding the trade war. It's not just #buycanadian it's also #buyanythingbutamerican . If you want something, buy Canadian, buy from anywhere but the USA and finally if you absolutely cannot do without then buy from the USA. When possible try to do without rather than send a single dollar south.

There are lots of calls from philsci and metascience for scientists to do things that will increase public trust in science- communicate more and better, do better studies, publish data and code. I think these calls are completely misguided 🧵
