I did, too. I was already emotional going through the exhibit and when I walked around that corner in the back and saw the wall with the notes I pretty much broke down. It was so incredibly powerful.

"We're living in a bad dream". It destroys me every time.

It still doesn't seem real 45 yrs later.

I just got choked up (again) reading your line, "When I awoke the next day, everything had changed." All of these years later, it's utterly impossible to comprehend.

Wonderful tribute today, Caitlin. I feel like I'm still reeling from the shock of that day.

This is my painting "Summer Memory". Someone saw it once and said, "That must've been a Monday." It reminded him of his mother.

I will never, ever, ever be over the shock of that morning nor the loss of him. But of course, he is ever present in our lives through the irreplaceable gift of his music, passion for peace, wit and brilliance. Oh John, I miss you so.

May limitless undying love shine around him like a million suns.

F'ing babies. They would've lasted a long time in Catholic school in the 50's and 60's.

Anthology Infinity still wouldn't be enough.

At Thanksgiving we said what we were grateful for and couldn't say friends or family. When it was my turn I leaned over to my grandson and said, "What am I grateful for, Layne?" "The Beatles, Gramma. I know." 😂

I smile, laugh and cry through these interviews with him in Anthology. And he rocks that jacket SO hard. ❤️
