To win the US election shouldn’t the Republicans take a leaf out of the Democrats’ book: dump old man Trump and put up woman-of-colour Nikki Haley as a counter to Kamala Harris. Vance could still be running mate to placate the knuckleheads, but with less risk he ever becomes POTUS
