Jon Pardi performed at the Big12 championship game and once it’s on YouTube you gotta listen to it. His voice sounds like punishment.

Democrats pls don’t put Mark Kelly on the 2028 ticket. He’s not even the most talented senator from Arizona. Sending fundraising texts every 5 minutes while putting MSNOW viewers to sleep is not winning strategy. Strong bio cannot edge out communication style. Ask John Kerry (who had a better bio)

M Ali, Trump, Jim Brown, and Namath stayed friends with OJ Simpson after the murders. Yoko Ono and Paul Shafer orbited Phil Specter after. Tebow (Hernandez), Trent Reznor (Manson), Sinatra, Anthony Quinn (Gotti). Why do you want your government to release the names of those who emailed by Epstein?/1
December 6, 2025 at 12:29 AM
Are you sure you want the federal government to release embarrassing emails they’ve collected even if there’s no evidence that you committed a crime? Is that really “accountability?” Where is the libertarian left on the Epstein files release?

The two shortcomings of using rubrics: (1) it assumes that quantitative measures are true and qualitative measures are less true, and (2) it assumes that if you give a qualitative judgement a number it is no longer subjective. . . . "rubric" is fun to say as a word, though.

Have we really thought this through? Hundreds (thousands?) will be doxxed in the files as witnesses, alibis, informants, colleagues and yes, friends, of a horrible man. Guilt by association. Would you want your government to share your name as linked to the worst person you ever hung out with?
November 19, 2025 at 10:13 AM
I feel like everyone has lost their minds….there is no guilt by association. Being friends with a monster does not make you a criminal, and it certainly doesn’t warrant the government releasing your name to the public.

Megyn Kelly was wrong because some of the trafficking victims were as young as 14…but the age of the trafficking victims is relevant, right? Like, not from a legal perspective but from a moral perspective?

Two different ones! Came here to Richmond, VA for a race and made reservations for dinner Fri and Sat at well reviewed, but not fancy, local restaurants. One closed its doors last week before we arrived and the other shuttered right after we ate. Coincidence or economic canary?

Remember 15 months ago what you thought of the MAGA obsessed with Epstein? What’s the end goal of the left’s appropriation of that obsession? Are the Alex Jones followers going to come around once you point out the hypocrisy? Will the persuadable voter in the middle see you as their champion?
November 16, 2025 at 8:29 AM
Let’s assume that, over three decades, there are 200 people who rode on Epstein’s plane…people under no suspicion that they sexually assaulted a minor…release their names in the name of holding powerful men to account?
November 13, 2025 at 12:32 PM
Caution to the Epstein-crazed. Just finished Clay Risen’s book on the Red Scare looking for parallels to Trump…An unexpected takeaway: broad public acceptance of guilt-by-association. People, not credibly accused of breaking any law, were fired or publicly ruined because of who they hung with.

I saw people asking for food at every stoplight in the East Richmond suburbs on Thursday afternoon. I wonder if, among those democrats who have experienced hunger, if that subgroup broadly supports continuing the shutdown, even if that means children go hungry.

Given the yawning range of football scores, and the many ways to score different numbers of points….does hit strike you as intuitively unlikely that this many games go to overtime? Lots of draws in soccer at 1-1 feels obvious, but in football?

He’s not cutting government jobs. He’s replacing subject matter expert public servants with MAGA loyalists.
October 3, 2025 at 10:51 AM
Of course it will end with those at the EPA and VOA and NPS fired en masse, eventually replaced by MAGA loyalists. And of course the Dems will be blamed. And of course they cave. When you lose elections, the other side gets to establish spending priorities. Dumbest. Politics. Ever.

No. There is no “both sides of the coin” when only one side of the coin uses government coercion.

I left the country hours before the shooting and returned hours after the arrest. I can’t figure out how I missed so much. The USA can’t possibly be this fragile that one otherwise unimportant person with one shot is able to bring us to the precipice, but then it’s okay again because of his motives?

Got this email today from my governor (Youngkin)…when two state lawmakers in MN were killed for their political beliefs, it was crickets, what is going on? I’ve been in Spain this week….what is different where Paul Pelosi is a punch line for these guys and for Kirk, is a moment of reckoning?

The problem with the right’s hyperventilation: Plot to kidnap and kill Whitmer, shootings of Minnesota state reps, Capitol riot, arson at Shapiro mansion, El Paso Walmart shooting, Tree of life in Pittsburgh, Charlottesville’s Heather Hyer, Paul Pelosi

With political violence, by any side, there are a meaningful number of cases where reprisals beget reprisals and it spins out of control. WW I, Indian Partition, Rwandan Genocide, Reign of Terror, killing of Sadat, Bombing of the US Marine barracks in Lebanon…

So does the SCOTUS order mean that black people can be stopped by police for “Driving While Black?” What the hell is happening?

Whatever you think of cancel culture…..IT WASN’T THE GOVERNMENT punishing disfavored speech, cancelling university grants, and disappearing people to gulags for writing op-eds.
