I totally understand. My fiancée and I lost our first cat on August 8th after an unexpected/aggressive cancer diagnosis on August 5th. We considered him our son, since we do not want human children. It's so quiet in the house now... We want another but will wait until after we move w/i the year 😭

We found out on Tuesday that he has a rare and aggressive cancer. Most times it isn't even noticed. So I guess we're lucky to get a few days with him.
I'm not okay. He is our son. We've only had him for five years. He was supposed to come with us to Canada. Why? Why?
