Mandarins, often gifted during Lunar New Year, symbolize prosperity, good luck, and happiness—something we hope to bring to everyone we serve. To our team it’s about more than just serving; it’s about honoring traditions, embracing cultures, and standing together as a community.

We’re also grateful to the NYPD 102nd & 106th Precinct Community Affairs officers who helped distribute turkeys, & to CB9 Queens Chairwoman Sherry Algredo, who stepped in to assist with the chickens.

This would not have been possible without the support of Magnetar, Food Bank For NYC, Stop & Shop, State Senator Joe Addabbo, & Council Member Joann Ariola.

At the Ozone Park Pantry, we distributed turkeys, halal chickens, salmon, fresh produce, & more to families in need—on top of our regular pantry services. A busy weekend, but every moment was worth it to help make the holiday special.
