It uses a similar dice mechanic to choose your action. You start with 6 dice and each turn you use two of them to pick one of the actions. There's a lot of choices, but you're constrained by your dice and limited way to change the values.

Cascadia R&W's are pretty great. First maps are a little weak, but the later ones ramp things up. They've come up with a really neat system and I'm curious to see where they go with it.
